Internationalization Actions | CRInt

Created by means of Ordinance 001/11 2011 and renewed by Ordinance 43/14 of 2014, the CRInt was born with the purpose of assisting EACH to establish academic relations with top-level institutions of education and research; facilitate the exchange of students and the visit of professors and foreign researchers to EACH, as well as visits of professors and researchers of EACH to foreign institutions.

The formalization of the CRInt activities is recent, but activities regarding the internationalization of EACH are held since 2006, when we sent our first student on an exchange in the United Kingdom. Since then, we have helped more than 350 students of EACH to fulfill their dream of exchange and we have received more than 170 foreign students. In addition, it was celebrated strategic partnerships with approximately 50 international institutions.

These numbers promise to increase, as we are a young school. We will be 11 years in 2016 and have deep interest in broaden partnerships through academic agreements, mainly double degree and dual-title programs, which are priorities for this management.

We current employee efforts for the creation of a Language Center that meets the academic community of EACH. These actions are still beginning, but we hope to be able to offer English, French, Spanish and Portuguese classes for Brazilians and foreign students in the future. While we still don’t have physical space and skilled staff for the Language Center and our students are instructed to attend the courses offered by USP Campus Butantã. The University of São Paulo, through AUCANI, has also offered language courses on virtual platforms to meet the demands of the entire USP community.

We are also moving towards the 3rd edition of the International Relations Seminar of EACH, an event whose objective is to gather the exchange student’s experiences with tips and advices from the international agreements coordinators. This event aims to assist students interested in applying for an exchange and professors interested in coordinating international partnerships. Furthermore, is a way to give visibility to the internationalization actions of EACH.

Despite the unforeseen events which, invariably, we are at the mercy, our goal is to overcome the problems with creativity, giving rise to sustainable alternatives and adapting them to the EACH reality, a unique unit inside the University of São Paulo.

Below, we share some kindly made testimonials from former exchange students of EACH.
