Information Systems

   This graduate program is in the Computer Science field and offers both Master’s and PhD’s degrees. It aims at training researchers with deep theoretical, practical and scientific knowledge in the Information Systems area.

   The scientific investigations conducted by our professors and students intend to advance the state of the art and practice of areas such as software development and management (Databases, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and IT Management) and computational intelligence (Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, and Pattern Recognition). The results of such investigations are usually applied in Business Processes, Enterprises environments, Bioinformatics, Mobile Devices, Economy, Education, Social Networks, Digital Government, Health Information Systems, Robotic, Linguistics, among others.
